Configuring zone for task creation

To configure zone for task creation:

  1. From the Facility menu list, select a specific warehouse.
  2. Select Configuration > Zone to open the Zone screen.
  3. Specify the zone that contains the normal receiving location, or use the Search feature to find a specific zone.
  4. Click the Pick Methods tab.
  5. If pick tasks are to be created, select Task Directed for each unit of measure that should have tasks created.
    1. Any UOM that will not be picked using Task Manager can have this set to RF Assisted.
    2. This gives the ability to control if different units of measure need to be managed differently. For example, if cases are going to be placed on a conveyer for movement to outbound staging instead of using RF to pick them, the Case setting can be set to RF Assisted.
