Creating a Packing Validation Template

From the drop-down menu, select a specific warehouse.

From the WMS menu, select Configuration > Validation Rules > Packing.

Click New. The Packing Validation Template screen displays.

Specify this information:

Case Complete Validation: If the Item Quantity box is selected (checked), the item quantity within the case is validated during the packing process.

Order Complete Validation: If the Item Quantity box is selected (checked), the item quantity for the order is validated during the packing process.

Instructions URL: A link to a website or supplemental information providing instructions for the packing validation template.

Notes: A text field used for including additional notes about the template.
Warn Multi Pack Order: If this check box is selected, then the operator receives a warning if multiple packs exist for the item on the order. Note that only one warning can be selected.
Warn Multi Pick From ID: If this check box is selected, then the operator receives a warning if multiple picks exist for the item in the From ID. Note that only one warning can be selected.
Require Order Fully Picked: If this check box is selected, then the order must be picked complete to begin Audit Packing. Note that only one requirement can be selected.
Require Item Fully Picked: If this check box is selected, then the item must be picked complete to begin Audit Packing. Note that only one requirement can be selected.
Location Category Order: Select the location category where all picks for the order exist for RF packing.
Location Category Item: Select the location category where all picks for the item exist for RF packing.

Click Save.
