Ship Tab

  1. Click the Ship tab and specify this information:
    Item Group 1
    Used to define the Item Group.
    Item Group 2
    Used to define the Item Group.
    Class
    Classification of this item.

    Default value: STD

    Freight Class
    Freight Class of this item.
    NMFC Class
    NMFC of this item.
    Mateability Code
    Code used to identify the mateability of this item.
    Transportation Mode
    Applies to parcel versus LTL shippable items.
    Hazmat Code
    Hazardous Materials Code Key
    Vertical Storage
    Indicator that determines whether the application reviews the height of the item, as defined on the pack, and compares the value to the height of the carton, as defined in cartonization. The height of the carton must be greater than the height of the item for the carton size to be considered.

    If this check box is not selected, the application reviews critical dimensions for the item and compares them to the carton, but permits the dimensions to be met in any configuration, not just height.

    Shippable Container
    Indicator that determines whether the item already comes in its own shippable container; therefore, Cartonization is disabled for the item.
    Note: This option only applies to eaches.
    Service Requirement
    Selection that allows user to specify transportation service special handling instructions. The specified service requirement is communicated to the TM module. Within TM, the special handling code information is then used to match up the special transportation needs with an appropriate carrier.
    Equipment Attribute
    Selection that allows user to specify a special equipment attribute that should be included in all Shipment messages.
    Equipment Type
    Selection that allows user to specify a a special equipment type that should be included in all Shipment messages.
    Equipment Length
    Selection that allows user to specify a a special equipment length that should be included in all Shipment messages.
