Holidays

If you want to advance or defer your charges when they land on holidays or special dates within a facility, you can identify those dates using Holiday records. You can then use the Skip Holidays field on the recurring rule to advance the charge to the day before or defer the charge to the day after a holiday if the charge would otherwise be accrued on the holiday.

Required?: No. You only need to create Holiday records if you need to skip certain dates for billing purposes.

Prerequisites

Facilities are prerequisites because each facility may have different holidays. For example, facilities in different countries will have different national holidays, you must identify the facility for each Holiday record.

Fields

Facility: The facility where this holiday is observed.
Holiday Date: The actual date of this holiday.
Description: The name of this holiday.
Open: Identifies whether the facility is operational on this holiday date. This is only for informational purposes and does not drive any functionality.
