Tally picking added for assignment picking

The RF Assignment Picking option has been enhanced to support RF barcode UOM and tally picking. Use the Barcode UOM Scan for Picking check box on the Item Outbound tab to enable barcode UOM picking. If the check box is selected, then the new Pick (ECPKASGA2) screen is displayed. When an RF Operator scans an alternate item, a barcode UOM associated with the item is picked. The quantity of the piece picked increases by the master units count configured to the barcode UOM. Each scanned piece is saved to the EACHPIECESCANTEMP table.

For tally picking, you can configure and enable the RF Pick screen to display a tally quantity (Qty) field through Mobile Personalization configuration. You can specify quantities in-between each piece scanning process that may be less quantity than the one for which is asked. The scanned quantity (Sqty) value is increased to the quantity specified and you can continue to scan the remaining quantities for the pick.

After each scan for each piece picking and tally picking, the scanned quantity is checked to see if equal to the expected quantity (Eqty). When the quantities are equal, a pick complete message is displayed. If you scan in more pieces than expected and over picking for order is disabled, then the Over Picking is not allowed for this order message is displayed. You must then complete the picking process. If the Allow Over Picking check box is selected, then you can continue to scan extra quantities.

For Countdown, you can configure and enable the RF Pick screen to display a remaining quantity (Rqty) field through Mobile Personalization configuration. RF operators can pick a lesser quantity than the one for which is asked. The quantity that has currently been picked is kept track and the operator is prompted for the remainder. After the item or alternate item is scanned, the scanned quantity increases based on the UOM quantity from the pack for that item or alternate item and the same quantity is deducted from the remaining quantity.

Clustered assignments by carton type

This enhancement expands the logic to use the carton type from the original cartonization, not from the zone, and build assignments using those carton type parameters. The Assignment Rules tab on the Zone detail page contains the Break By Carton Type check box. Select the check box to specify that the carton type on the pick detail be used to determine the number of positions that are available for each carton type on the orders. With this enhancement, you can use carton type for the cube and number of case IDs that are assigned to an assignment.

Delete unallocated shipment orders

With this enhancement, shipment orders can be deleted by sending a Delete Shipment Rest API or ProcessShipment BOD=Deleted if the shipment orders are not currently being processed.

Exclude order status from opportunistic crossdock

With this enhancement, an administrator can select up to six order header statuses to exclude from the opportunistic process. Six Order Status to exclude from Opportunistic Allocation fields have been added to the Order Crossdock tab.

Item List View Groups added

You can select Group 1 and Group 2 from the List View preferences on the Item tab.

Editable Shipment Detail Lottable values

You can now edit Lottable values 01 through 10 on the Shipment Detail tab.

Generate multi-pick for same lot

Select On for the new GENERATEMULTIPICKFORSAMELOT system setting if multi-picks are needed when over allocating inventory occurs. After selecting On, new lines are added to the Pick Detail tab of a shipment order to represent items if allocation occurs.
