Receipt Validation Template

Name of the Receipt Validation template. This record is later assigned to the owner record to manage receipt validations. Required.

Is Default?

Indicator that determines whether it is the default template for all owner records. Only one default template can be defined.

All Receipts

Receipt Without PO

Application response if a receipt has no Purchase Order (PO) defined in the PO field during RF receipt. Options are:

• Allow
• Warning (RF Receipts Only)
• Hard Error

Receipt Without LPN

Application response if a receipt is attempted with no license plate number. Options are:

• Allow
• Warning (RF Receipts Only)
• Hard Error

Item Not on PO

Application response if a receipt is for an item that is not on the PO. Options are:

• Allow
• Warning (RF Receipts Only)
• Hard Error

RF Receipts Only

Receipt Without ASN

Application response if a receipt has no ASN defined in the ASN field during RF receipt. Options are:

• Allow
• Warning (RF Receipts Only)
• Hard Error

Item Not on ASN

Application response if a receipt is for an item that is not on the ASN. Options are:

• Allow
• Warning (RF Receipts Only)
• Hard Error

ASN/PO Mismatch For Item

Application response if item received is expected on both the ASN and the PO. Options are:

• Allow
• Warning (RF Receipts Only)
• Hard Error

LPN not on ASN for Each Piece Scanning

Select one of these responses if a receipt has an LPN not on the ASN for each piece scanned::

• Allow
• Warning (RF Receipts Only)
• Hard Error

ASN Overage (RF Receipts Only)

Perform Qty Validation

Indicator that determines whether the application uses quantity validation settings during RF standard receipt for overages. Selecting Yes indicates a quantity validation should be performed.

Overage Message?

Indicator that determines whether the application displays a message to the RF receiver that indicates the current receipt causes the received quantity to exceed the ordered quantity. If this field is set to Yes, the application displays a message indicating the overage and asks if the user wants to continue. If this field is set to No, a message does not display.

Note: If the overage exceeds the Hard Error percentage, the overage message does not display. (See the next two field descriptions.)

Overage Override

Minimum overage percentage that requires a valid reason code to be accepted. If the check box is not selected, the Percentage field does not display.

If the check box is selected and the associated overage percentage is achieved or exceeded, during receiving, the application displays an RF screen requiring a valid reason code for the overage.

Overage Hard Error

Minimum overage percentage that causes an error message to prevent the receipt. If the check box is not selected, the Percentage field does not display.

If the check box is selected and the associated overage percentage is achieved or exceeded, during receiving, the application returns a hard error message preventing the receipt.

PO Overage (RF Receipts Only)

Perform Qty Validation

Indicator that determines whether the application uses quantity validation settings during RF standard receipt for overages. Selecting Yes indicates a quantity validation should be performed.

Overage Message?

Indicator that determines whether the application displays a message to the RF receiver that indicates the current receipt causes the purchase order quantity received to exceed the purchase order quantity ordered. If this field is set to Yes, the application displays a message indicating the overage and asks if the user wants to continue. If this field is set to No, a message does not display.

Note: This message only displays if the total quantity received on the PO line is greater than the quantity expected, and less or equal to the Overage Hard Error percentage (described below).

Overage Override

If the check box is selected and the associated overage percentage is achieved or exceeded, during receiving, the application displays an RF screen requiring a valid reason code for the overage.
