Allocation Pick Codes
The table below shows the base Allocation Pick Codes used within
Pre-Allocation Strategies.
Name | Description | Details |
---|---|---|
NSPALSTD01 | Create picks by Pallet quantity | The system looks at existing inventory to allocate specific
locations and license plates in Pallet quantities.
Note: To use this pick code, pre-allocation needs to first
breakdown the expected picks by pallet (using the pre-allocation pick code
NSPPRSTD01).
|
NSPALSTD02 | Create picks by Case quantity in assigned forward pick locations | The system looks at existing inventory to allocate specific
locations and license plates in Case quantities. This requires the item to have
assigned case and/or each pick locations.
Note: To use this pick code, pre-allocation needs to first
breakdown the expected picks by case (using the pre-allocation pick code
NSPPRSTD02).
|
NSPALSTD03 | Create picks by Inner Pack quantity in assigned forward pick locations | The system looks at existing inventory to allocate specific
locations and license plates in Inner Pack quantities. This requires the item
to have assigned case and/or each pick locations.
Note: To use this pick code, pre-allocation needs to first break
the expected picks by inner pack (using the pre-allocation pick code
NSPPRSTD03).
|
NSPALSTD04 | Create picks by the Layer quantity | The system looks at existing inventory to allocate specific
location and license plates in Layer quantities.
Note: To use this pick code, pre-allocation needs to first break
the expected picks by pallet (using the pre-allocation pick code NSPPRSTD04).
|
NSPALSTD05 | Create picks by the Feet quantity on the pack | The system looks at existing inventory to allocate specific
location and license plates in Layer quantities.
Note: To use this pick code, pre-allocation needs to first break
the expected picks by the feet quantity (using the pre-allocation pick code
NSPPRSTD05).
|
NSPALSTD06 | Create picks for Master Units from assigned forward pick locations | The system looks at existing inventory to allocate from
specific locations. This requires the item to have assigned case and/or each
pick locations.
Note: To use this pick code, pre-allocation needs break the picks
using pre-allocation pick code NSPPRSTD06).
|
NSPAL01_07 | Create picks using the pre-allocation results without specifying the UOM | The system will allocate the quantity as determined during pre-allocation without requiring specific configuration (such as assigned pick locations). This pick code can be used if forward pick locations are not defined. |
NSPALSTD09 | Consolidated picking | Only used for Consolidated Picking process. This process uses Speed-Pick location types. Consolidated picks will be over-allocated out of this location regardless of the system setting. |
NSPALSTD10 | Batch Picking | Only used for Batch Picking. This process uses Sort Station location types. Batch picks will be over-allocated out of this location regardless of the system setting. |
NSPALSTD206 | Create picks using the pre-allocation results without specifying the UOM | Allocate in master unit quantities using pre-allocation results. |
ALSTD301 | Dynamic Picking - break by Pallet quantity | Used only for Dynamic Picking. Determines the number of pallet picks based on the Pallet quantity on the Pack configuration. |
ALSTD302 | Dynamic Picking - break by Case quantity | Used only for Dynamic Picking. Determines the number of case picks based on the Case quantity on the Pack configuration. |
ALSTD306 | Dynamic Picking - Master Unit quantity | Used only for Dynamic Picking. Determines the number of master unit picks. |
NSPALSTD07 | Allocate Case UOM. Assigned case location optional. | Allocate case quantity from a 'Case' location if one is assigned to the item. If there is not a case location assigned, the strategy step will be skipped to attempt the next step. |
