Creating appointments
To create appointments:

Complete one of these
steps:
- Select the detail view
on the
Appointment screen. See
Viewing appointments graphically
Click the bar on the chart for the hour and dock door. The Appointments List is displayed to display all of the appointments that match the specified dock door and the date.
- Select the Appointment List screen.
- Select the detail view
on the
Appointment screen. See

- Select Appointment > Appointment List.
- Click New.

Specify this
information:
- Appointment Number
- Specify the appointment number if you want to override the system default.
- Type
- Specify the type of
the appointment.
- Inbound: Use for receipts.
- Outbound: Use for shipment orders and groups of orders for the same trailer or loads.
- Status
- Specify the status of the appointment. The default value is Scheduled.
- Door
- Optionally, specify the dock door for this appointment.
- Carrier
- Optionally, specify the carrier for this appointment.
- Trailer Number
- Optionally, specify the number of the trailer for this appointment.
- Trailer Type
- Optionally, specify the type of trailer for this appointment.
- Start Date
- Specify the starting date of this appointment.
- Hour
- Specify the starting hour of this appointment.
- Minute
- Specify the starting minute of this appointment.
- End Date
- Specify the ending date of this appointment.
- Hour
- Specify the ending hour of this appointment.
- Minute
- Specify the ending minute of this appointment.
- To associate an ASN or shipment order with the appointment, click Add in the bottom half of the screen where an Inbound or Outbound order can be linked to the appointment. A list of all open receipts or shipment orders displays. Select the receipts or orders for this appointment. You can associate multiple receipts or orders with an appointment.
- Click Save to create the appointment.
