Adding a quick order

You can quickly add a single order to an existing wave.

To quickly add an order to a wave:

  1. Select Wave > Execution > Maintain Waves. The Wave Maintenance list is displayed.
  2. Select the wave to which you want to add the quick order. The summary information (Summary tab) for the selected wave is displayed
  3. Click the Quick Order Add button located in the bottom portion of the screen. The Quick Order Add popup screen is displayed.
  4. Select the order(s) you want to add to the wave.
  5. Specify either an order number or an external order number.
    • If you specify an order number, the external order number field is disabled.
    • If you specify an external order number, the order number field is disabled.
    • Note that you cannot enter wildcards into the fields.
  6. Click Save & Continue or Save.
    • If you want to add another quick order, click Save & Continue. The Quick Order Add popup screen refreshes with the fields empty.
    • If you do not want to add another quick order, click Save. The Quick Order Add popup screen is closed. The focus returns to the Summary tab for the wave with the added quick order displayed in the list of orders.
    Note: The system checks that the specified order number or external order number is valid and that the order/external order status is Not Shipped. If more than one external order matches the specified criteria, all matching external orders are added to the list of orders.
