Capturing serials and receipt quantity

The RF operator can enter the serial numbers prior to entering quantity information for the transaction. The serials scanned are verified for accuracy and temporarily stored in the transaction prior to completion of the operation.

If the operator enters the serial numbers and does not enter the quantity on the transaction, the system can determine the quantity for the transaction from the serial numbers that were scanned. The operator does not have to scan the correct number of serials required for the operation. Based on the serials scanned, the quantity used in the transaction can be adjusted.
