System settings

To properly configure system settings for the capture of weight, serial, or other data, select Administration > System Settings. Settings that you use for this capability include:

• AllowCatchWeightData must be ON to use weight, serial, or data capture.
• DELAYSNUMCAPTURE provides the ability to cancel the capture of the serial number following the receipt if you set this to ON. This is useful for different operators to receive and serial capture.
• ROLLBACKONSERIALISSUE is used to control if an RF operator encounters a problem completing the serial number capture on a move. If this is ON, the current transaction is reversed. See the inventory control section for more information on this feature.
• CHECKSERIALDISCREPANCY is used to control if a license plate that contains a discrepancy between the serial number inventory balance and the license plate balance can be moved or picked from. If this setting is ON and the RF operator tries to move or pick a problem license plate, he is informed that the license plate cannot be used for the transaction.
