Receiving scenario: System flow
Product to be received arrives at the warehouse in less than full pallets. Each product is received with an individual LPN assigned.
-
As the receipt is completed, the application checks the value
entered in the ISRP (IsRainbowPallet) field.
- If the ISRP value is N, receipt continues as normal in the current application.
- If the ISRP value is Y, the application prompts you to enter or scan a drop ID.
- Specify a Drop ID and press Enter. The application verifies whether the Drop ID you entered already exists in the Drop ID table. If no corresponding record exists in the Drop ID table, the application creates a new record.
- The Drop ID field is populated with the value entered in the RF DRID field.
- The Drop ID Type field is populated with Putaway.
-
The Drop ID Detail – Child ID field is populated with the pallet
ID entered on the RF Receiving screen.
- If a corresponding record exists in the Drop ID table, the application verifies whether the type is Putaway.
- If the Drop ID record is not Putaway, receiving stops and you receive an error message.
- After confirming the error, enter a new Drop ID.
-
If a record on the Drop ID table corresponds to the drop ID value
entered in the RF device and it is a
Putaway record, the application determines the value of the
Allow Multi-zone Rainbow Pallet Putaways option in the owner table.
- If the option is set to No (cleared), the application verifies that all other products (detail lines) on the Drop ID record have the same zone assigned in their corresponding records on the Item table.
- If all other products on the Drop ID record are assigned to the same zone, the entry is accepted and receiving continues. The received product is added to the existing Drop ID record as a detail line.
- If no other products on the Drop ID record are assigned to the same zone, the application returns an error message. When you cancel the error, the application is displayed the RF Receipt screen with the previously entered values. You can edit these values.
- If the option is set to Yes (selected), the application does not validate the zone. The entry is accepted and receiving is continued. The received product is added to the existing drop ID record as a detail line.
