Cost Screens

You can use the cost codes and cost groups to describe expenses related to running the business. The cost codes are used when the cost calculation process is run and costs are allocated to facilities, customers, or item groups. Costs are ultimately used to determine profitability in the Profitability by Customer report and profitability BI.

Cost Configuration screens include:

• Cost Groups that provide a method of grouping costs on reports
• Cost Codes that identify the different costs of running the business.
