Packing from the Scan Pack pop-up window

The Scan Pack pop-up window is used to quickly pack items by scanning the item, serial number or LPN. You can work within a pop-up window and scan items one after another, instead of using the From Contents list to locate and pack each detail.

To pack from the Scan Pack pop-up window:

With the main Packing screen displayed, click Scan Pack (located in the header portion of the Packing screen). The Scan Pack pop-up window is displayed.
Perform one of the following for each item to be packed:
- Scan or specify the item or alternate item.
  - If the item is configured with the Packing Quantity Always 1 check box selected or if the value for the Packing Quantity Always 1 field on the packing Settings screen is Yes, a single unit of the item is packed to the Pack To Container.
    Otherwise:
  - Item information and totals are displayed on the window. The Quantity field is enabled. Specify a value into the Quantity field and click the Pack button. The specified quantity is packed to the Pack To Container.
- Scan the serial number.
  - Scan or specify a serial number that has already been captured during picking.
  - The serial number is packed to the Pack To Container.
- Scan the LPN.
  - Scan or specify the LPN that exists in the Pack From.
  - The entire LPN is packed to the Pack To Container.
After a successful packing transaction, the screen is cleared and the previously processed scan value and quantity are displayed at the bottom of the pop-up window.
When you are finished with packing, click Close to close the window.
