Error messages

You can view the logs in the Job Scheduler or the Import Transactions page for errors during a Shift Pattern Import. See Job Scheduler.

Errors are also shown in the Import Log Report. See the Workforce Performance Implementation and Administration Guide.

This table lists the possible error messages for a Shift Pattern Import:

Error Message Description
Cannot find the employee: {0} If the Creates Employee Override check box is selected and Emp_Name is not supplied or the specified employee in Emp_Name cannot be found in the system.
Error parsing {0} Invalid schedule start/end times, invalid break times.
Error parsing Schedule identifier string If the Sch_Identifier string is empty or contains an incorrect format.
SHFTGRP_NAME not found If the value in Shftgrp_Name is not found in the system.
TimeCode / hourtype / department, project / docket / job {0} not found If time code, hour type, department, project, docket, and job in Sch_Break_String or Shftpat_Labor_String is not found in the system
Unrecognized token {0} in SHFTPAT_LABOR_STRING If one of the tokens in Shftpat_Labor_String is not recognized.
Wrong number of fields in break string If one of the break data in Sch_Break_String does not have 4 or 5 fields. A minimum of 4 fields is required; remember to add the comma if the HourType field is not supplied.
