Setting up user proxies
After enabling the user proxy feature, you can assign group and individual proxy settings. Setting up user proxies is a four-step process that involves several users, as summarized in this table.

Security group level authorization: Turn on the security group proxy setting by selecting the check box to enable members within the security group to proxy other users or be proxied by other users. |

User level authorization: Turn on the user proxy setting by selecting the check box to enable particular individuals to proxy other users or be proxied by other users. |
User Being Proxied (User B) |
User Proxy Assignment: Assign proxy rights so that another user can proxy the current user (User B allows User A to proxy User B). See User security. |
Proxy User (User A) |
Becoming the Proxy: The user with the user proxy rights becomes the other user (User A becomes User B). See User security. |
