Defining the Payroll Readiness Notification task

Use the Payroll Readiness Notification task to specify, by pay group, to which supervisors the Payroll Readiness Notification is sent.

To define the Payroll Readiness Notification task:

  1. Select Maintenance > System Administration > Job Scheduler.
  2. Locate the Payroll Readiness Notification task in the task list of the Task Schedules page.
  3. Click Parameters.
  4. Specify this information:
    Pay groups

    Select the pay group that contains the employees (supervisors) to whom the Payroll Readiness Notification is sent using the lookup.

    The pay group you choose must be associated with a payroll administrator. If the pay group does not have a payroll administrator, an error message is displayed and you will not be able to create the Payroll Readiness Notification task.

    Days after pay period end to send notifications
    Specify the number of days after the end of a pay period that must pass before the Payroll Readiness Notification is sent.
  5. Click Submit.

You can change the content of the Payroll Readiness Notification e-mail by modifying the Notification Subject and Notification Body fields. To make this modification, click Turn ON config mode from the Payroll Readiness Notification Parameters page.

This notification is sent out only once per pay period.
