Book off code for employee posted shifts

MVS shifts that have been posted by an employee and successfully claimed by another employee are displayed in MVS screens, such as the ASV, in the same manner as shifts that have been booked off and backfilled. The registry parameter SHIFT_BILLBOARD_BOOKOFF_CODE determines the activity that is used to book off details in the posted shift. This activity must have an activity type of Off.

When claimed shifts are assigned to a claiming employee, activities for work details remain the same as in the original posted shift by default. You can configure an activity to replace work detail activities in claimed shifts. This can be useful for reporting purposes to track working hours in claimed shifts. This configuration is done by specifying a relief activity in the Relief Activity Code maintenance form that corresponds with the activity specified in SHIFT_BILLBOARD_BOOKOFF_CODE. The relief activity must have an activity type of On.

See "Configuring relief activity" in the Infor Workforce Management MVS Implementation and Administration Guide.
