ON_CLK_ADJ_MIN

Description:

This parameter defines the number of minutes by which ON clocks are adjusted when the application allocates ON clocks to work summary days. When allocating an ON clock to a work summary, this occurs:

  • If the time between the ON clock and the last clock for the employee clock is equal to or less than the number of minutes defined in the MAX_OFF_TIME registry parameter, the ON clock isallocated to the same day as the last clock.

If the ON clock is not allocated, or MAX_OFF_TIME is undefined, the ON clock time is compared with the employee’s day start time as defined in the Day Start Time field. This field is found on the Maintenance > Employees > Employee Basic Information - Override page.

  • If the employee’s day start time is between 12:00 and 23:59 and the clock occurs after the day start time, the clock is allocated to the next day. If the ON clock occurs before the start time, the clock is allocated to the current day.
  • If the employee’s day start time is between 00:00 and 11:59 and the clock is before the employee’s day start time, the clock is allocated to the previous day. If the ON clock occurs after the day start time, the clock is allocated to the current day.

During this allocation, the ON clock is adjusted by the number of minutes defined in this parameter. For example, if the value of ON_CLK_ADJ_MIN is 30 and an employee clocks on at 11:45, the application treats the ON clock as having occurred at 12:15 when allocating the clock to a work summary.
