Product fixes

This chapter lists the Infor Support Portal, JIRA, and Test Track (TT) issues that have been fixed in the current release.

Hotfixes

Hotfixes are only available to address Severity 1 and 2 issues, so are intended to be a vehicle to deliver critical issues to customers between releases. Severity 1 issues will always be addressed regardless of the software version being run. Severity 2 issues will be addressed with a hotfix only for the current and two previous feature pack releases of the Infor Workforce Management product. For example, with the current version being 7.1.0, a customer must be running Workforce Management 6.4.x or higher to be eligible to receive a hotfix for a Severity 2 issue.

Note: A feature pack refers to the first number after the ".". For the 6.4.x releases, the feature pack is 4.

Severity 3 and 4 issues will be fixed at the discretion of Infor and would be included in the next scheduled release.

Patch releases

Patch releases address outstanding defects in the Infor WFM product. Patch releases provide fixes in-between main and minor releases. Patch releases are not designed for delivering new features. Fixes delivered in a patch are included in the full product release that follows the maintenance release.

Patches are cumulative. Taking the latest patch always ensures that you have the most recent set of updates and fixes within the given release (for example: 6.2.1.14). Patches also include all the updates and fixes from all previous patches back to the last main or minor release. Patches provide you with the latest Infor WFM fixes without the need to upgrade.

Note: Not all issues can be resolved with a patch. You must also use the corresponding Infor WFM maintenance release.

Maintenance releases

Maintenance releases are the same as patch releases but larger. Maintenance releases address a larger number of outstanding defects in the Infor WFM product than patch releases.

Maintenance releases are also cumulative in same way that patch releases are cumulative.
