Unregistering reports

The Report Registration Wizard can also be used to unregister reports.

  1. Select Maintenance > System Administration > Toolkit > Report Registration Wizard.
  2. Click Remove a report from the system.
    The Report Directory page lists all the non-core application reports. The reports are organized by menu parent grouping with all child reports listed in alphabetical order.
  3. Select the report you want to remove and click Next.
  4. Click Remove to continue to remove the selected report.
  5. Click OK.
    Note: Unregistering a report from the application does not delete the report. To remove a report permanently, you must delete the report from the Cognos server. Contact your system administrator.
  6. To clear the report entry from My Reports, you can unload the application cache:
    1. Navigate to Maintenance > System Administration > Console Mode.

      A new row of buttons is displayed at the top of the page.

    2. Under the Unload Cache heading, click All to clear the application cache.
    3. Click Hide.
    4. Refresh the page.
