Overview

Overtime equalization (OTE) is the process of balancing the amount of overtime work offered to employees. OTE is used to ensure that employees are given equal opportunity to earn overtime income.

Supervisors can determine which employees will be offered overtime hours first by using the OTE module to track the overtime offers that employees accept and reject. Every employee response logged by a supervisor contributes to the employee’s overtime balance. Supervisors can use this balance to determine which employees will be offered overtime hours first.
