Smart Rules and Pre-Configured Calc Groups

The pre-configured state calculation groups are designed to address state-specific labor legislation and implement payroll best practices with minimal configuration. This is accomplished with preconfigured payroll rules that are applied to the appropriate calculation group. Clients need to only assign employees to either the hourly or non- hourly calculation group in the appropriate state, and adjust the rules to satisfy their specific business needs. The calculation groups are installed using the Data Set Installer.

Feature Pack 3 includes pre-configured calculation groups for New York and Florida.

Express Data Set

Express Data is a set of application data specifically configured to reduce implementation time, which can be installed with the Data Set Installer. The Express Data includes common time codes, hour types, preconfigured security groups, and preconfigured values for key registry parameters.
