Updated WFM password requirements

As part of ongoing security improvements in WFM, the default password requirements have been strengthened for new deployments of WFM. Infor recommends using these new default requirements by referring to the following updated registry parameters:

Note: These registry parameters are not updated for upgrades. However, Infor recommends setting these values manually to strengthen the security of your Workforce Management solution.
  • PWD_STRENGTH: The required strength for a password is now set to SPECIAL_CHARACTERS by default.
  • PWD_REPEAT_COUNT: The number of different passwords that a user must use before being allowed to repeat a previously used password is now set to 24 by default.
  • PWD_MAX_LENGTH: Password maximum length is now set to 2000 characters by default.
  • PWD_MIN_LENGTH: Password minimum length is now set to 15 characters by default.
  • PASSWORD_LIFE: Password life measured in days is now set to 60 days by default.
