Localization and Configuration

WFMC-116

The WB8000 has been changed so that message localization is now contained in a separate settings file. The name of the settings file contains a language parameter suffix. The suffix of the language is specified in the message.languages configuration in the settings.conf file. The clock now looks for a specific settings_<language>.conf file for the localized messages.

WFMC-13

In the application, the Reader Type field in the reader maintenance form is now a required lookup field. This change provides an easier way to select preconfigured values.

WFMC-217

The WB8000 now supports multiple function key toolbars. This change means that more than four functions can be mapped to the function keys. In addition, the clock now provides the ability to configure a single function both in the toolbar as well as in the menu option.

WFMC-207

The WB8000 configuration has been substantially changed to provide a more consistent and better out of the box configuration. The changes have been preconfigured on the function toolbar as well as the menu to make demonstrating the clock’s features easier.

WFMC-212

The WB8000 has been changed to remove unnecessary Cancel or OK function keys for specific cases. Instead, the ESC button on the keypad becomes the standard way to exit any screen. Screens with prompts retain the Cancel function key to cancel the operation being performed.

WFMC-132

The default value of the configuration wbsynch.softwareupdates.type in the WB8000 has been changed to NEWCLOCK.

WFMC-83

All configuration files in the WB8000 have been changed to use the UTF-8 character set.
