Locale-based configuration for key system settings

The new Configure Locale page (Maintenance > System Administration > Data Localization > Configure Locale) provides greater flexibility for localization of key system settings such as date, time and currency. You can now configure multiple locales for these key system settings for situations with multiple language packs and employees in geographically dispersed locations. You can configure WFM so that employees in different locations can now see the information in a format that is specific to their locale rather than a global setting for all employees.

These key system settings were previously controlled by global registry parameters in WFM that implemented one setting for all employees, regardless of locale. If you upgrade to a version of WFM that supports locale-based configuration, you are now required to use the Configure Locale page to complete your locale-based configuration.
