Availability Management

Availability, defined by an employee or a supervisor using the Availability Management module, is used by the MVS in several ways:

  • When configured to do so, an employee’s availability is displayed within the Schedule panel of the Schedule Period view, Employee view, Scheduled Team view and the Intraday view. Availability is also displayed in the Schedule Details panel of the MVS when a schedule cell is selected in any of the MVS views.
  • Scheduling according to an employee’s availability is possible when using the availability search criteria in the Employee Find and Sort feature.
  • Additionally, auto-assign may be configured to automate staffing of unstaffed shifts based on employee availability.
