Availability Rule

The Availability rule determines whether or not the schedule assignments have violated the employees’ availability. Employees specify the hours they are available to work using the Availability module. The system shows a violation if the schedule has assigned an employee to shift(s) outside of the employee’s specified availability. If a violation occurs, it will be counted against each day that employee availability is violated.

If the Availability rule has been configured, and Employee A has specified the employee’s availability as weekdays 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM, the following examples demonstrate the Schedule Validation report results.
