Balances and Accruals

When an employee’s leave requests have been approved and successfully processed, the corresponding absence is reflected in the MVS in the following ways:

  • The time code associated with the absence, such as VAC for vacation, is included in the schedule details and is displayed in the schedule cells of the Employee, Schedule Period and Scheduled Team views.
  • Employees previously scheduled to a shift are no longer scheduled and do not contribute to coverage of the requirements.
  • An employee’s weekly scheduled hours exclude the absence if the corresponding time code is configured to do so.
