Scheduling Rules panel

The Scheduling Rules panel is displayed at the bottom of the screen. This panel lists all scheduling rules that must be satisfied during the scheduling period.

These rules consist of items such as:

  • The minimum number of weekend shifts that are required during the scheduling period
  • The minimum shifts that are required to be worked per week
  • The maximum hours that can be self-scheduled for the week

To see more information regarding each rule, click the rule. The Self Scheduling Group Rule panel displays the values that define the rule in these sections:

  • Rules Constraints
    • Whether the rule is a warning or a hard error
  • Employee Constraints
    • Employee type
    • Default hours
    • Included shifts
    • FTE parameter
  • Shift Constraints
    • Number of shifts
    • Shift types
    • Day types
    • Start and end times
    • Period parameter

To exit this panel, click Close.
