Opening row editing mode

The way to open row editing mode depends on the type of schedule or template you would like to edit.
  • An MR that has been activated can be opened directly to edit row versions:
    1. Select Scheduling > Multi-view Scheduler > Master Rotation > Manage Master Rotation.
    2. Click Edit for the MR you would like to edit.
    3. Select a start date and end date to view the MR and click Go.
    4. Click Edit Template to open row editing mode.
  • An OTS template can be edited through any OTS schedule that it was used to create:
    1. Select Scheduling > Multi-view Scheduler > One-time Schedule > Manage One-time Schedules.
    2. Click Edit to open an OTS that is based on the OTS template you would like to edit.
    3. Click Edit Template to open row editing mode.
  • An OTS template in ACTIVE status can be opened directly into row version editing mode:
    1. Select Scheduling > Multi-view Scheduler > One-time Schedule > Manage One-time Schedule Templates.
    2. Click Edit for the OTS template you would like to edit.
    3. Select a start date and end date to view the OTS template and click Go.

When row editing mode is open, the names of assigned employees are hidden on each row. You can access the row editing controls for a row by right-clicking in the Employee column of that row. You can use the pencil icon in the header of the Employee column to create bulk row versions for every row in the template.

If you entered row editing mode from an MR or OTS schedule, you can click Back to Schedule when you are finished editing row versions to return to the MR or OTS schedule.
