Adding flag and UDF fields to activities in Shift Configuration

You can add flag and UDF fields to the Activity tab in Shift Configuration. This allows users to specify flag and UDF values when adding work, break, or on-call activities to a shift configuration.

  1. Turn on Config mode.
  2. Select Scheduling > Multi-view Scheduler > Advanced Settings > ES Data Definitions > Shift Configuration.
  3. Select any team in the Unit field and click Load.
  4. Click the plus sign (+) icon.
    The Create New Shift window is displayed.
  5. Perform these steps to display flag fields when editing activities in a shift configuration:
    1. In the Activity tab, click the control diamond indicator for the flag field you would like to add (MVS_ACT_FLAG_1~10).
    2. Select CheckboxUI in the Field UI field.
    3. Click Save.
  6. Perform these steps to display UDF fields when editing activities in a shift configuration:
    1. In the Activity tab, click the control diamond indicator for the UDF field you would like to add (MVS_ACT_UDF_1~10).
    2. Select StringUI in the Field UI field.
    3. Click Save.
  7. Turn off Config mode and refresh the Shift Configuration maintenance form.
The selected flag and UDF fields are displayed when editing activities in a shift configuration.
