Daily Schedule

The Daily schedule view allows users to view a Gantt chart version of the schedule and to use "drag and drop" to edit and create shifts.

You can modify the Daily schedule view using the registry parameters listed in this topic. This topic provides a summary of each registry parameter. For complete information about these registry parameters, see LFSO Registry Parameters in the Registry Parameter Reference Guide.

INTRADAY_BACKGROUND_INTERVAL_TYPE
This parameter defines the time interval for the lines in the background of the schedule. By default, this parameter is set to 30 minutes but 15 and 60 are also valid values.
ALLOW_LESS_THAN_15_MINUTES_INTERVAL

This parameter is a true or false parameter that indicates whether shifts can start or end any time instead of being restricted to the 15 minute interval.

When this parameter is set to true, the system allows shifts to start anytime. Use the DAILY_SCHEDULE_INTERVAL parameter to modify the way this parameter functions.

DAILY_SCHEDULE_INTERVAL

This parameter provides you with the option to "snap" to a time interval on the Daily schedule when dragging and dropping shifts. Use this parameter to modify the functioning of the ALLOW_LESS_THAN_15_MINUTES_INTERVAL parameter.

This parameter can be set to time intervals of 1, 5, 10 or 15 minutes. Any of these time intervals force the shift start and end times to snap to one of those intervals.

ENABLE_HORIZONTAL_PAGING and ENABLE_VERTICAL_PAGING
These two paging parameters are available for the Daily schedule to change the way data is loaded. These parameters can improve performance in organizations with very large schedules. If users are experiencing slow loading times in the Daily schedule, enable one or both of these paging parameters.
SHOW_EXPAND_COLLAPSE_ALL

This parameter controls whether or not a button is available on the Daily Schedule and Weekly Schedulepage that allows the user to expand or collapse all sections (Forecast, Schedule, Staff Not Scheduled sections). Click Expand/Collapse All once to collapse all sections on the schedule. Click it again to expand all sections.

When set to true (default value), the Expand/Collapse All button will be visible. When set to false, the Expand/Collapse All button will not be visible.

COLLAPSE_ALL_INITIALLY

This parameter controls whether or not the Departments and Staff Not Scheduled sections are collapsed or expanded after creating a schedule in both the Weekly Schedule and Daily Schedule page.

Set this parameter to true to collapse the schedules in both sections or false (default value) to expand the schedules in both sections.
