Automatically assigning meal breaks
When you edit a shift that has the field Automatically Reassign meals/breaks selected, LFSO
automatically reviews the shift conditions against the break rules. LFSO then assigns a
break that falls within the start and end time range and minimizes impact to coverage on
the schedule.
Note: In
previous releases, the automated LFSO meal break reassignment was based on the valid
times for breaks using the hours range. LFSO used the hours range to determine the
time slot within those valid break times that minimized the impact on coverage. The
new time-specific meal and break rule minimizes the impact on coverage in the same
way.
