Setting the Clock System Information

To set the clock system information:

  1. Press and hold the C and E buttons simultaneously for approximately three seconds.
    Note: The exact labels of the menu items might be different on your WB6000. For example, Setup Mode can be displayed as Test Setup Diagnostics.

    Access the menu items by pressing function buttons alongside the display.

  2. Press the Host IP Address function button.
  3. Specify the IP address of the WBCS at the Enter the Host TCP/IP Address prompt.
  4. Press the E button.
  5. By default, the WB6000 is configured with a static IP address. You must either configure the clock's IP address or switch the clock to DHCP:
    • Press the Static IP function button to configure the clock to use DHCP.
    • Press the IP Address function button to set the clock's static IP address. Specify the IP address of the clock at the Enter the Host TCP/IP Address prompt and press the E button.
  6. Press the Setup Mode (or Test Setup Diagnostics) function button.

    The setup mode menu is displayed.

  7. Press the TCP/IP function button.

    The TCP/IP mode menu is displayed.

  8. Configure the WB6000 to use TCP/IP client mode. Use the TCP/IP Server or TCP/IP Client function button to toggle between client and server mode.
  9. Press the Socket Port function button.
  10. Specify the socket port number of the WBCS through which the WB6000 communicates, at the Enter the Socket Port prompt.
  11. Press the E button.
  12. Press the Append EOT No function button, if the button is displayed. The button name changes to Append EOT Yes.
  13. Press the Return To Setup button.
  14. Press the Exit Setup function button.

    A message is displayed stating that you have asked for a re-boot or have changes that require a re-boot.

  15. Press the OK Re-start function button.

    The clock reboots.
