Setting Up Employees to Use Biometric Clocks

These configuration steps are for employees that use biometric versions of the WB5500 Series Clock. Before you can set up badge numbers for employees using biometric clocks, complete the steps in this task.

To set up employees to use biometric clocks:

  1. Select Maintenance > Employees > Employee Badge.

  2. Click the Edit link next to any employee to access the page. If there are no employees listed, click Create New Entry.

    The Employee Badge Detail page is displayed.

  3. Select Turn ON Config Mode from the OPTIONS drop-down list.
  4. Click the orange diamond icon next to Empbdg Flag 3.
  5. Select CheckboxUI from the Field UI drop-down list.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Now that the field is displayed, you can set up employee badge numbers.
