Defining the Global Labor Budgeting Date Format

Before you begin the actual Labor Budgeting setup process, verify that the global Labor Budgeting date format conforms to your organizational standard. The default date format of MM/dd/yyyy is defined through the LB_DATE_FORMAT registry parameter. For information about this parameter, see the Infor WFM Registry Parameter Reference Guide.

  1. Select Maintenance > System Administration > Registry Maintenance.
The Registry Tree page is displayed.
  2. Select system > modules > LaborBudgeting.
  3. From the LaborBudgeting registry folder, select LB_DATE_FORMAT.
The LB_DATE_FORMAT registry parameter details are displayed in the right panel.
  4. If the date format in the Value field represents the desired date format, then stop here.
  5. To change the date format, click Edit.
  6. In the Variable Value field in the Edit Variable area, specify another date format.
For example, instead of MM/dd/yyyy, which displays March/22/2006, specify MMDDYY to display 032206.
  7. Click Save.
  8. If a warning message is displayed, click OK.
