Additional considerations

Because an employee’s paid sick time does not have to be paid out upon termination, and the example eligible requirement (680 hours lifetime) also resets upon a break in employment, you can include functionality to set these balances to zero as part of the rehire or termination process.

WORKBRAIN_PARAMETERS/ BALANCE_TRANSFERS_ENABLED TRUE Allows the previous quarter balance (for example, PREV-QTR) to be reset at the start of each quarter.
RuleEngine/ENTITLEMENTS_RUN_LOCATION AFTER_BALANCE_TRANSFER Ensures that accruals occur after any necessary balance transfers have executed. The previous quarter balance is deducted before any new accruals take place.
