Clock Reader Heads

The reader head on your clock determines how you perform clock punches. Every type of clock punch requires you to identify yourself using the clock reader. You can identify yourself in one of the following ways:

• Using the keypad, by typing your ID when prompted.
• Using the card reader, by swiping your badge or card through the reader with the barcode or magnetic stripe facing away from the keypad, when prompted.
• Using the proximity scanner, by swiping your badge or fob near the bottom of the scanner.
• Using the finger print reader, by pressing your finger on the reader pad.
