Shift Billboard overview
The Shift Billboard module allows teams to post shifts that can be claimed by employees that want to work the shifts. Managers can reduce understaffing by posting open shifts that can be claimed by employees that want to fill the shifts. Employees can increase control of their own schedules by posting shifts to the billboard and claiming shifts posted by managers or other employees.
Managers can post unassigned shifts from scheduling screens in the WFM desktop application. Employees can post their assigned shifts from mobility using a smartphone or tablet. Posted shifts can be claimed by employees from the Employee Transaction Manager (ETM) or from mobility.
The configuration of the Shift Billboard controls who can post shifts, who can claim posted shifts, and when shifts can be posted. Custom workflows can be configured to determine which validations or approvals are required to complete billboard transactions and ensure schedules remain compliant with relevant labor regulations and company policies.
