SAW Approval screen details

This information is available on the SAW Approval screen:

  • Employee information card

The employee information card is displayed on demand by hovering on the employee's name. This includes employee identifier, status, pay group, and calculation group. Based on your system configuration, other information may be displayed.

  • Scheduled hours totals

Scheduled hours are returned for employees at multiple levels: daily, employee summary (for the time frame loaded), and worksheet summary (for all employees within the time frame loaded).

At the daily level, on hover, the worksheet shows a breakdown of the scheduled times (and breaks if applicable) for that date.

  • Paid hours totals

Paid hours are returned for employees at multiple levels: daily, employee summary (for the time frame loaded), and worksheet summary (for all employees within the time frame loaded). The paid time segments considered are configurable to include or exclude certain types of time (for example, long-term absences and breaks).

On hover, a breakdown of paid hours is displayed along with a separate breakdown of any other summarizable time that is not included in the paid time summary calculation.

  • Dollars earned totals

On hover, a breakdown of earnings by time code and hour type is provided at the daily, employee summary, and team summary levels.

  • Authorization state

A graphical icon representing the current authorization state of an individual day and, if applicable, the overall collection of the timesheets is displayed. When hovered over, the authorization icon reveals additional information that is related to the current authorization state (for example, the user who performed the authorization or the message from the rules that automatically unauthorized the day). The user can click the authorization state icons to authorize/un-authorize the specific day.

  • Employee and team summaries

Authorization icons exist at both the employee and team summary levels along with a count of approved and total records. The user can click the icons to authorize/un-authorize an employee's entire period or the entire worksheet.

  • Timesheet comments

From the worksheet you can view the comments for a specific day by clicking the comment icon. Additionally, you can add, edit, or delete a comment on any of the displayed days.
