Display Requirements for Operating System and Browser

This section contains information on settings that will ensure the WFM application user interface elements are displayed properly in your browser.

Display Scaling for Text and All Other Items

For the Windows 8 operating system and above, display scaling for text and all other items must be set at 100% for the proper display of WFM user interface elements in your browser.

In Windows 8, display scaling is set in Appearance and Personalization > Display. Note that the procedure for setting this value will vary depending on the Windows OS version. However, the display scaling setting is always found in the system wide Display configuration of Windows.

Browser Zoom

Browser zoom is not fully supported on pages that are dense with information and dynamic elements. Depending on the complexity of the data that is presented, changing the zoom level from 100% in your browser can create misaligned elements in the WFM application.

Applet Display in Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox

Form Builder and Workflow Editor may not display properly in Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox due to lack of Java applet support. Microsoft® Internet Explorer® version 11 can be used for applet display only. Infor Support provides a workaround to allow proper display of these WFM applet tools. For more information on how to obtain the PortableApps tool for the workaround, see "Troubleshooting Display Issues with Form Builder and Workflow Editor" in the Infor Workforce Management Tools Administration Guide.
