Note: As of patch release 7.0.0.6, workmail notifications for Shift Billboard have been updated to display the same information to users in mobility, ETM, and the desktop application.
Workmail notifications for Shift Billboard in the WFM desktop application and ETM do not include the same information that is displayed when viewing the notifications in the mobility app. In mobility, notifications related to posting or claiming requests initiated by the user include this information in the message body:
  • Shift times and date
  • Schedule compliance
  • The status of the request
  • Users that rejected or approved the request

In desktop and ETM, these workmail notifications only include the shift times and date in the message body. Information on the status of requests is included in the message subject line.

In mobility, notifications related to shift post cancellations include the shift times and dates. The notification also includes the user that canceled the shift post or a notice that the shift post was expired or rejected by the system. In desktop or ETM, these messages only notify employees that their shift post was canceled or that it was expired or rejected by the system.

Notifications sent to users to provide approval decisions include the same information in mobility, desktop, and ETM. Users can approve or reject a request directly in the message when signed into any of these platforms.

Employees can post shifts to the Shift Billboard that are marked with the AR Relief status.

WFM-25167

Employees see shifts as available shifts on the Shift Billboard that they cannot claim for one of these reasons:
  • The employee's schedule is locked on the date of the billboard shift.
  • The billboard shift is before the employee's schedule cutoff date.
  • The employee does not have sufficient balance to claim the shift. This only applies to shifts with time codes that consume balance.

When the employee attempts to claim one of these shifts, this message is displayed: "The billboard shift is no longer valid."
