Infor sample report template

Infor provides a sample report template that can be used to create custom reports. It includes the layout and formatting of the report results page and prompt page. It also includes variables for localization and for displaying query parameters on the report results page. The included content is designed to save time and to ensure consistency in custom reports. The sample report uses the WFMStandard metadata package.

When creating a new report, the sample report must be saved using a new file name. This creates a new report with the pre-built content that can be modified based on the business requirements.

Note: Infor has several requirements about where to save new custom reports and core reports that you have modified. New custom reports and modified core reports must be saved in the provided Custom Reports folder and not in the core report folder of Infor WFM Reports. It is especially important that you do not overwrite the existing core reports with your modified reports.

We recommend using a blank report to create custom burst reports, instead of using the sample report template. The footer in the sample report template should be deleted in burst reports because it causes an error during burst report execution.
