Move SYSTEM_TIME_STANDARD to WORKBRAIN_LOCALE table

Key system settings are now available in the Configure Locale page. The Configure Locale page (Maintenance > System Administration > Data Localization > Configure Locale) provides greater flexibility for localization of key system settings such as date, time and currency. You can now configure multiple locales for these key system settings for situations with multiple language packs and employees in geographically dispersed locations. You can configure WFM so that employees in different locations can now see the information in a format that is specific to their locale rather than a global setting for all employees.

For more information, see the Infor Workforce Management Internationalization Guide.

CLONE - Allow users to overwrite EMP_FULLNAME when EMP_FULLNAME_OVERWRITE registry is set

As of this patch release, you can now choose to override the FULLNAME_FORMAT global registry parameter and make it mandatory to enter a specific value for the employee’s full name when creating employees in WFM or through the employee import process. This gives you choice in the values you specify for the employee’s full name rather than a single global value.

For more information on how to fully implement this feature, see the Infor Workforce Management Time and Attendance Implementation and Administration Guide.

PLAT-8725

Locale based DTS/SAW date selection for This/Last Week

For organizations with multiple language packs and employees in geographically dispersed locations, you now have the option of configuring the week's start day based on locale. This setting is only used for the This Week, Last Week, and Next Week date selections in the Daily Timesheet and Supervisor Approval Worksheet. For example, if the first day of the week is set to Thursday, then the week displayed in the timesheet and SAW starts on Thursday and ends on Wednesday.

If you choose not to implement this new feature, no action is required and you will not see any changed behavior.

Note: Other areas of the application use the DAY_WEEK_STARTS registry parameter to determine the first day of the week. This is a global setting that applies to all employees, regardless of locale.

For more information, see the Infor Workforce Management Internationalization Guide.
