Terminated Team start date displayed incorrectly when importing csv file to change Employee status from Active to Inactive

The start date for the Terminated Team is displayed incorrectly after updating an employee's status from Active to Inactive by importing the employee from a CSV.

Outcome

Fixed by evaluating team overrides and hire dates to confirm if employee imports are a new hire or not.
