Book-off shift
Users can book off an entire shift or part of a shift in Central Staffing if the assigned employee cannot work or for schedule adjustments. When a book off is performed, the shift activities assigned to the employee are updated to the leave activities specified by the selected book off codes. Users can select the relief status for the relief shift that is created to cover the booked off shift or part of the shift.
Book offs are validated to ensure that the schedule change does not cause schedule compliance errors. Book offs are also validated for employee balances to ensure the employee has enough balance to cover the time off. The balances of the employee that is assigned to the shift that is being booked off are displayed in the Book-off pop-up.

Swap Shift
Shifts can be swapped in Central Staffing between two assigned employees or between an assigned employee and an unassigned shift. Users swap shifts by marking the first shift for a swap and then selecting the second shift. The shift card for shifts marked for swaps is highlighted with a dotted border.

Users in Central Staffing can revert a shift swap that was previously performed to return the swapped shifts to their original employee assignments.

The modified shift indicator can now be displayed on shifts in Central Staffing. When the ASV_SHOW_MODIFICATION_INDCIATOR registry parameter is set to true, an asterisk is displayed at the end of the shift label for shifts that have been modified from the original created version of the shift. Modifications can include changes to a shift's start and end times, labor metrics, activities, skills, UDFs, and flags.
