Hardware Clocks: Meal Confirmation (60)
You can configure your 8000 or 9000 Series clock to prompt employees to confirm that they took their scheduled meal break at the end of their shift. If meal confirmation is enabled, a prompt will be presented to eligible employees during a Clock Out only. An out-of-the-box configuration is suitable for most business requirements. A prompt framework allows you to perform additional configuration to meet your business needs.
For more information on how to configure meal confirmation prompts for your employees, see the system administration guide for your clock.

Custom prompt UI is disrupted when lengthy text is used for the prompt.
When creating a lengthy custom prompt with more than one line, the second sentence is not inserted as a second line. As a result, the entire prompt and the text box gets pushed to the right of the screen, making it unusable.
Outcome
Fixed.

Advanced Clock Prompt with Feedback
A new more advanced prompt framework has been added to the 8000 and 9000 Series Clocks that allows system administrators to prompt and capture responses from employees. Multiple prompts can be chained together based on conditional responses as well as providing control for different elements such as timeouts and cancellation of a transaction. Many new attributes allow for a robust framework to capture multiple pieces of information and provide direction and guidance to employees. Attributes for the prompts can be configured in the clock.xml file to satisfy your business requirements.
See your Clock System Administration Guide for more examples and information on how to configure the new advanced prompt framework.
