Labor Forecasting and Schedule Optimization

A sorted schedule view was added to the Schedule Optimization module. The view is called Location View (Times) and is sorted by schedule area, start time, and employee last.

Labor Forecasting and Schedule Optimization now works on DB2 and SQL Server databases.

If the employee works in two schedule areas (i.e., has a shift transition), the total hours for the week (at all locations) are displayed. This ensures the total will be the same for both locations.

The ability to continue editing an already published schedule was added. Once the edits are complete, users can re-publish the new edits. As a result, store managers do not have to open employee timesheets to make last-minute changes.

Schedule Optimization Intraday Scheduler

Total hours per schedule are now displayed beside the employee name on the Intraday Scheduler. In addition, total hours per day and total hours per schedule are displayed in the pop-up window that appears when the user rolls the cursor over an employee name.

Shift start and end times were added to the Intraday view.
