Labor Forecasting and Schedule Optimization

Variable Productivity Standards

The Labor Forecasting and Schedule Optimization (LFSO) module now has two ways to override a productivity standard for a given driver. Volume Level (stepped) Standards allow for different productivity standards at very high or very low volume times. These standard overrides can be configured for any volume range.

Time Based Standards allow for different productivity standards at different times of day, or on different days of the week. The standard override allows the user to enter the day of the week (including “All Days”, “Week Days”, and “Weekends” options), a time range, or both.

It is possible to use both types of overrides within a given implementation, but any given driver may only have one type of override. It is not possible to apply both a Volume Level and a Time Based override to the same driver.

If no productivity standard overrides exist, the current standard will be used, so there is no impact for upgrade projects.

  • Optional automatic meal and break reassignment for drag and drop intraday edits.
  • Coverage graph in line with the shift bars.
  • Color coded shift bars by department, matching the graph on the weekly schedule view.
  • Display options to show job and activity names.
  • Improved zoom function.
  • Performance improvements on switching between daily and weekly view.
  • Inline shift edits that are consistent with the weekly schedule inline edits.
  • Quick edit options for shift copy and swap without opening inline edit window.
